KCSJ Catholic schools welcomes new superintendent

A new superintendent has joined the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph Catholic Schools.

Dr. Karen Kroh steps in to replace Dr. Dan Peters as he retires from more than a decade with KCSJ Catholic Schools. Kroh has 25 years of experience in all levels of education and has a list of achievements.

Kroh earned her bachelor’s degree in family and child development and her master’s degree in special education, both from Auburn University. She received a Doctorate in School Leadership from St. Louis University.

Kroh most recently was the associate superintendent for the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas offices of Catholic Schools and help that position since 2004.
