A new lawsuit has been filed against Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice by his former partner, alleging physical assault however no criminal charges have been filed .
The woman claims Rice assaulted her multiple times from December 2023 to July 2025 in Victory Park, Texas, and Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The lawsuit details various forms of abuse, including grabbing, choking, and hitting with objects, some while she was pregnant.
Seeking over $1 million in damages, the woman went public with the allegations on social media in January. The post did not name Rice, but the Chiefs made a brief statement after the allegations came to light. prompting the Chiefs to acknowledge the situation and involve the NFL.
Rice has faced legal issues before, including a suspension for a high-speed crash in 2024. He was suspended from several games after pleading guilty to his role in the incident but returned to action in October 2025.
