homemade explosive went off while he was holding it.St. Joseph police say officers responded to a call to assist
emergency workers in the 100 block of Tucker Street at 7 o'clock last night. They discovered a white
man in his 20s who had a serious hand injury. The man told officers a homemade
explosive went off accidently.No charges are expected to be filed.
