Steven "Buck" Hood 69, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in St. Joseph. He was born October 22, 1955, son of Jennie and Richard Johnson. Buck worked at Burlington Northern Railroad. He enjoyed music, admiring cars and motorcycles, spending time on his porch, and loved good food. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Ramona Hodge and Cynthia Johnson. Survivors include: children, Steven Hale, Payton Hale, Stevie Hood, Stephanie Hood, and Tempestt Stillman, siblings, Richard (Deann) Johnson, James Johnson, Darlene Hood, Carol Johnson, Nelleda Johnson, Carla Johnson, and Janice (Steven) Richardson, 9 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.Service arrangements are currently pending.Memorials are requested to the Steven Hood Memorial Fund, c/o Rupp Funeral Home.
