ATCHISON COUNTY —A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Friday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Toyota Camry driven by Alyssa J. Applen, 19, Rock Port, was northbound on U.S. 59 three miles from Fairfax.
The car began to skid, traveled off the east side of the road, became airborne and overturned.
Atchison-Holt Ambulance transported Applen to Fairfax Community Hospital. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
