Michael Len Brewer “Mikey-Brewser”, 60, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away April 27, 2023.
He was born February 8, 1963, to Arena L. (Cruse) Brewer and William J. Brewer, Sr.
He was known for his friendly disposition and raspy laugh; Mikey truly had a heart of gold. He was an avid softball player and devout Chiefs fan. Those who loved him remember him fondly in jerseys of red and gold, sporting his favorite cap and with a Budweiser in hand.
Mikey loved his family. He was a loving father, son, and brother. Throughout his life he made several friends whom he had grown to love like family. Meeting him was making a friend for life. Whether watching a game, tailgating, or being on the baseball field, he was his happiest self when surrounded by the people he loved.
Mikey was a very hard worker throughout his life. He was gainfully employed by National Beef for almost 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, Syleisha Brewer, Marshona Seawright, Jade Seawright, and Mikah Brewer; grandchildren, Layauna Nelson, Kingston Brown, Skye Moss, Kanan Jaire, and Kashmir Arena; siblings, William (Jimmy) J. Brewer, Jr., Deborah K. Hughes (Curt), Frederick Brewer, Renee Brewer (of California), Natasha Brewer (of California); uncles, Shirley Brewer and Virgil Cruse; and several nieces and nephews.
