Howard Francis Noland, 80, of rural Easton, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was born June 30, 1943 in St. Joseph, son of Melba and George Noland. He was raised in the Easton area and graduated from Easton High School. He married Donna Hampton on March 25, 1965 in Troy, KS. In May of 1965, he joined the United States Navy, where he proudly served his country for 10 years. Howard carried his skills on to work at American Airlines and TWA, where he retired as an Aviation Mechanic. He loved his cars and tinkering with them. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Donna Noland in 2012, siblings, Charles Noland, Linda Brown, Michael Noland, Deborah Day, and an infant brother. Survivors include daughter, Shawna Noland of Easton, MO, brother, Walter Noland of St. Joseph, granddaughters, Bria and Olivia Kirby, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Noland has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Rupp Funeral Home. US Navy Funeral Honors will be performed at 6:45 PM. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
