Virginia Lea (Bomar) Conner, 79, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2024 at a care facility in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Born June 16, 1944, she was the daughter of Burrell Bomar and Mildred Bomar née Rauch of Bigelow.
Virginia was preceded by her husband, Jerry Lee Conner; brother, Frederick Bomar; sister, Lavella Grimm; and son, Clark Brownlee.
Virginia is survived by three children, Stephen (Karen) Brownlee of Portland, MO, Blake (Kimberly) Brownlee of Richmond, MO, and Stephenie (Chris) Price of Okatie, SC; grandchildren, Kyle Brownlee, Cole Brownlee, Colton (Bailey) Brownlee, Jase Price, Quinn Price, Jonathan Thompson and Joseph Abarr; and great grandson, August Price. She enjoyed a large family of many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City.
