
BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug charges after a traffic stop.
Just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, a sheriff's deputy initiated a
traffic stop in the vicinity of U.S. 36 near Goldfinch in Brown County, according to Sheriff John Merchant.
After contact with the driver identified as 38-year-old Andrew Armstrong of Robinson, the deputy discovered that the vehicle
registration was expired and Robinson's license was suspended.
The deputy arrested Armstrong on requested charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Illegal Registration and Drive While Suspended.
