Celia Kasper, of Lawrence, Kansas, died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the University of Kansas Medical Center at the age of 30 surrounded by family and closest friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 11, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Church in Atchison, Kansas, with Fr. Jeremy Heppler, OSB, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Celia was born September 17, 1993, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Randy and Michelle (Beien) Kasper. She attended Atchison Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Maur Hill-Mount Academy in 2012. Celia was employed with Maximus as an ISG representative in Lawrence, Kansas.
Celia enjoyed singing and spending time with her friends. She was spontaneous and always up for a road trip. She had a special place in her heart for her two Godchildren, Hendrick and Harley.
Survivors include her mother, Michelle Kasper, Lawrence, Kansas; her father, Randy Kasper, Kalamazoo, Michigan; and her brother, Thad Kasper, Post Falls, Idaho, step sister, Amber Hall and step brother, Mike Jones and aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walter and Wanda Kasper and her maternal grandparents, Ted and Nancy Beien.
