ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 10:30a.m. Monday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Chevy Blazer driven by James D. Gossett, 74, St. Joseph, was northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 29 two miles north of St. Joseph.
A southbound 2003 Peterbilt semi driven by Matthew W. Rosenbohm, 35, Bolckow, swerved to avoid a crash. The Blazer struck the left front of the semi and overturned.
Buchanan County EMS transported Gossett to Mosaic Life Care. Rosenbohm was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
