ATCHISON COUNTY, MO. —A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after noon Saturday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Joseph L. Rhodes, 41, Mound City, was southbound on Route O three miles northeast of Tarkio.
The motorcycle traveled into the northbound lane. A northbound 2007 Chevy Silverado driven by Daniel P. Beckman, 45, Watson, struck the motorcycle.
Lifenet transported Rhodes to Mosaic Life Care. Beckman was properly restrained and not injured. Rhodes was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
