Iva Maxine Baker, 83, Union Star, MO passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Living Community, St. Joseph, MO.
She was born on March 16, 1943 the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Smith) Jackson and raised on the family farm.
On December 30, 1958, she married Luther Eugene “Gene” Baker. He survives of the home.
Iva loved spending time with her family and being outdoors tending to her garden and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willis Jackson.
In addition to her husband, Iva is survived by her children, Rhonda (Doug) Schnitker, Ben (Pam) Baker, Brad Baker, and Brenda (Jerry) Dishman; grandchildren, Henry (Brianne) Schnitker, Phillip (Jessica) Schnitker, Arlin (Jessica) Baker, Abbie (Jeromie) Allen, Mitchell (Shelby) Schnitker, Quentin Dishman, and Jonathan Dishman; great grandchildren, Gabrielle Schnitker, Danica Schnitker, Kaler Baker, Nathan Schnitker, Matthew Schnitker, Chesney Allen, Emily Schnitker, Ace Baker, and Truett Allen; brothers, Wayne (Marilyn), Mike (Theresa), Marvin (Barb), Ed (Kim), Ken (Cindy),and Craig; sisters, Linda (Randall), Patricia (Tom), and Pam (Bob); sisters-in-law, Carol (Layne) Krause and Judy Jackson; and brother-in-law, Dale Tritten.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Inurnment will follow in Union Star Cemetery, Union Star, MO.
