The St. Joseph's Chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, a group of Catholic men of Irish heritage, donated $5,000 to Second Harvest Community Food Bank to support those in need. The organization, familiar with hunger from Irish history, chose to assist Second Harvest as a way to give back to the community. The chapter's dedication to helping others extends beyond a single donation, with funds also allocated from the St. Patrick's Day parade. While the exact date for this year's parade is not set, it is expected to take place in mid-March.
