Rosie M. Schimmings, 60, Dekalb, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026.
She was born June 29, 1965 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Rosie found happiness in the hobbies and pastimes that reflected her creative heart. She loved collecting the Penny Saver, always enjoying the familiar routine of looking through its pages and discovering what it had to offer. She also found great satisfaction in knitting, crafting, and painting, pursuits that allowed her to express herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother.
Survivors include her son, Richard Harbor; sisters, Norma McCully and Louise Coon; cousin, Coleen Chaney; bonus mother, Kathy Parker; friends, Beth Briley and Bill Molloy; nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Rosie’s Funeral Fund.
