Frank Elwood Innis, 81, of Platte City, MO passed away on January 2, 2023. Frank Innis was born on December 10, 1941 in Kidder, MO to Margaret and Carl Innis.
After graduating Kidder High School in 1959, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After completion of his service he attended North West Missouri State University where he met his future wife, Sharon V. Morehouse. The two married on January 21, 1965 in Maryville, Missouri. Frank graduated from NWMSU is 1969. Frank worked for the Missouri Division of Youth Services and Maple Woods Community College. In 1987 the couple moved to Platte City, MO. He enjoyed fishing, backpacking and reading and cheering on the Kansas City Chief’s.
He was preceeded in death by mother, Margaret and father, Carl.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Innis; son, Jared Inns (Andrea).
Visitation will be held from 11a.m.-1p.m. Sunday Jan.15, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO.
