ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan. — One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Thursday in Atchison County.
A 2002 Honda Accord driven by Sara Bergman, 16, Atchison, was southbound on 10th Street when she turned left to travel eastbound onto U.S.59, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The Honda collided with a northbound 2017 Ford Mustang driven by Karen Servaes, 72, Atchison.
EMS transported Seraves, 72, to Amberwell by for examination. Bergman was examined at the scene by EMS but not transported. She was cited for failure to yield.
