Royals shut out by Toronto in rain delayed game Monday

(AP) - Bo Bichette hit one of three Toronto home runs and five Blue Jays pitchers combined on a two-hitter in an 8-0 win over the Kansas City Royals Monday in a game delayed by just over two hours due to weather.

Daniel Lynch took the loss for Kansas City, dropping his record to 2-5. He allowed six runs on six hits, with two walks and four strikeouts in 5.2 innings.

The Royals will try again against the BlueJays tonight at 7:10. Coverage starts at 6:30 on KFEQ Radio (680, 95.3) in St. Joseph. Brad Keller will start on the mound.
