Cathie Reardon, 70, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026.
She was born October 30, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Norman and Marlene (Pierson) Kurger. Edna was a 1973 graduate of Central High School.
Cathie married Gary Reardon on August 21, 1976. He survives of the home.
She was very involved in the medical field locally and a Certified Medical Tech in Cardiology at Mosaic Life Care for 40-plus years.
Cathie belonged to the Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed doing crafts and making her own hand-made cards. Cathie and Gary raised rabbits for many years and belonged to the Missouri State Rabbit Producers Association, American Rabbit Breeders Association, where she was a lifetime member, and was a 40-year member of the Pony Express Rabbit Club, where Cathie and Gary were past president and vice president of the club.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 50 years, Gary; sister, Jo Anne Reed of Overland Park, Kansas; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 25, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Friends of the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
