A motorcyclist suffered moderate to serious injuries when he ran into a car pulling out of a car wash on the South Belt Highway Sunday night.
St. Joseph police say 34-year-old Carl Griffin was north-bound on the Belt around eight o’clock when he hit the car and was ejected from the motorcycle. Griffin was wearing a helmet. He was rushed to the hospital. No one in the car was injured.
Witnesses tell police the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed.
The investigation into the crash continues.
