ANDREW COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Friday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Lincoln MKZ driven by Bobby G. Christian, 77, Maitland, was eastbound and traveled into the intersection of U.S. 71 at Route B.
The driver failed to yield to a northbound 2022 Toyota Camry driven by Ada S. Barcus, 82, Hopkins. The Toyota struck the right rear of the Lincoln.
A private vehicle transported Barcus and a passenger in the Toyota James I. Barcus, 89, Hopkins, to Mosaic Life Care. Christian refused treatment at the scene. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
