STONE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Tuesday in Stone County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Suzuki GSF 1200 driven by Joshua D. Beasley, 35, Reed Spring, was southbound in the northbound lane of Keystone Road two miles east of Reed Spring.
The motorcycle struck a northbound 2019 Dodge 5500 driven by Samual J. Cady, 33, Springfield, head-on.
Beasley was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Stone County coroner's office. Cady was not injured and properly restrained at the time of the accident. Beasley was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
