Harold McQueen, 71, of Gower, MO passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was born January 18, 1952 in St. Joseph, son of Paulene and Wallace McQueen.
He graduated from East Buchanan High School, class of 1970. Harold was drafted into the US Army, where he served during the Vietnam War. Harold was a longtime farmer and worked with Johnson Farms. He loved gambling, being outdoors, going fishing and driving around checking the crop fields.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Jessie McQueen of St Joseph, Becky (David) Myers of Stewartsville, MO, sister, Carrol (Roger) Cluck of Wathena, KS, brother, Clifford "Skip" (Letty) Lynch of Ozark, MO, and grandchildren, David and Emilee Myers.
Mr. McQueen has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Rupp Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Pastor Leanna VanZandt-Nauman officiating.
