Wanda Maye McCaulley, 79, of DeKalb, Missouri passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
She was born December 2, 1946 in La Mesa, TX, daughter of Florence and Wilburn Wheeler. She graduated from High School in La Mesa, TX. Wanda married Dick McCaulley, sharing many years and memories together. She always enjoyed being outdoors and going to garage sales and flea Markets. She was a devoted Volunteer with Special Olympics.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Mary Crane, brother, Jim Wheeler, sister, Billie Fuller, and grandson, George Wheeler Jr. Survivors include husband, Dick McCaulley of the home, sons, George (Tammy) Wheeler, Joseph McCaulley, all of DeKalb, grandchildren, Autumn Rose Crane, Bernie Wheeler, Robert Wheeler and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2026 at DeKalb Christian Church, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery in DeKalb.
