Lorraine Ann Zorn, 63, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2026 at her home, with her loving husband by her side.
Lorraine was born on November 10, 1962 in Oxnard, California to the late Lupe Villa and Lupe Mercado.
Lorraine's love for running followed her throughout her life, while attending Ventura Junior College, she received Hall of Fame Honors. She then went on to receive a scholarship to the University of California Irvine.
Mrs. Zorn spent her working career as Administrator for the Tulare, California Senior Services.
Lorraine married David Zorn on April 20, 1991 in Oxnard, California. They celebrated thirty-four years of marriage and friendship.
She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Savannah, Missouri and was an active member of the Lions Club. She and her husband enjoyed their time together and were the best of friends, some of their favorite things to do were traveling, going out to eat and taking long walks.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by two half-brothers.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, David; son, Matthew Zorn; daughter, Jordyn Zorn; twin-brother, Larry Mercado and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Zorn has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 28 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The Family will Receive Friends at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 4 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
The family has requested memorial donations to Second Harvest Food Bank.
