Fredrick M. Peters, 86, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 in St. Joseph. He was born May 18, 1938 in Tonganoxie, KS, son of late Beryl and John Peters. He graduated from DeKalb High School and married Carolyn Keling. He served in the National Guard, and was a member of Life Church. Fredrick worked at the United Parcel Service, for 31 years, and St. Joseph Transit, for 10 years, as a driver. He enjoyed to mushroom hunt, fish, garden, watch the Royals and Chiefs play, and loved spending time with his grandkids. Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carolyn Sue Peters, brothers, George, Jack, Donald, and Bill Peters, and sister, Dorothy Morris, great grand daughter Cambria Peters. Survivors include daughters, Rhonda (Derek) Woosley of St. Joseph, MO, Sheila (Nathan) Kunkel, and Tonya (Scott) Hart, sons, Rodney (Brooke) Peters, and Steve (Charlotte) Peters, brothers, Jerry (Elaine) Peters, and Ronnie (Sandy) Peters, sister, MeriKay (Carl) Wootten, 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 205 at Rupp Funeral Home.
