BUCHNAN COUNTY—A woman from Agency died in an accident just after 4:30a.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 GMC Envoy driven by Tawny L. Moran, 56, Agency, was eastbound on Route H two miles east of Faucett.
The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Route A. The SUV continued through the intersection, traveled off the right side of the road, became airborne, struck the ground, continued through a bean field, struck a field terrace, became airborne again and landed on its wheels before coming to a stop.
Buchanan County EMS transported Moran to Mosaic Life Care where she was pronounce dead. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
