ANDREW COUNTY —A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ford Escape driven by Sarah C. Burks, 51, King City, was southbound on U.S. 169 one half mile north of St. Joseph.
The driver fell asleep. The SUV traveled off the west side of the road and struck two culverts. Andrew County EMS transported Burks to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
