Rosalee Ann (Shannon) Pigg, 90, of St. Joseph passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
Rosalee was born March 29, 1933 near Grant City, MO. On September 9, 1951, she married Warren Pigg of Worth, MO. They were married at the Gentry Baptist Church in Gentry, MO. They were married for 67 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Basil and Zora Shannon; husband Warren; brother Jim Shannon; half-brother Ralph Wilson; and great-granddaughter, Nora Schindler.
Survivors include daughters and their spouses, LaDonna (Jim) Miljavac, Rebecca (Jim) Deatherage, Carolyn (Bruce) Schindler, Leisa Pigg; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sister Minola Hise and brother-in-law Edward Pigg; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Frederick Blvd. Baptist Church family.
In lieu of flowers, the famliy suggest donations to FBBC, 5502 Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph, MO 64507.
Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 AM at Heaton--Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Monday, July 31, 2023, at 2:30 pm at Knox Cemetery in Worth, Missouri.
