DAVIESS COUNTY —Four people were injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Thursday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford F150 driven by Daryl W. Betts, 33, Fayette, was northbound on Route V and turning west onto MO 6 five miles east of Gallatin.
The driver failed to yield. An eastbound 1997 Ford F250 driven by Jonathan R. Parker, 50, Gallatin, swerved into the westbound lane an struck the F150.
Daviess County ambulance transported Betts and a 6-year-old in the F150 to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Cameron Ambulance transported Parker to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Grundy County ambulance transported a passenger in the F250 Billy J. Parker, 82, Gallatin to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The occupants of the F250 were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
