The St. Joseph Mustangs scored seven runs through the first two innings and never looked back in a 10-3 win at Nevada Sunday.

The Mustangs outhit the Griffons 11-6 and benefitted from five Nevada fielding errors. Mason Holton, Brayden Luikart, Easton Bruce and Michael Paule each had two hits in the victory.

Andrew Clark got the win on the mound in six innings, striking out seven and walking four. He allowed just three hits and two earned runs.

St. Joseph Christian alum Camden Lutz pitched the final three innings, allowing just one run.

The Mustangs improve to 15-8 on the season, as they’ve won three of their last four games.
