Richard H. Reynozo 1932 - 2023

Richard H. Reynozo, a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on June 2, 2023. He was born on September 19, 1932, in Durbin, North Dakota, to Jose Cayetano Reynoso De Anda and Maria Anastasia (Hurtado) Reynoso. Richard was a devoted family man and devout Catholic who believed in the power of prayer. He was 90 years old.

Richard's education included studying criminology in Florida, where he earned his bachelor's degree. He also completed auto-mechanic school while actively serving in the military. His work history and association involvement were extensive, as he served as an electronics and radar technician in the United States Air Force and spent six years in the United States Navy. Richard was a proud Korean War veteran.

In his community, Richard volunteered with Twin Spires Church to assist the mentally handicapped. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and American Legion. His dedication to service and helping others was a testament to his faith and love for his fellow man.

Richard was an athletic man who played football, baseball, and loved bowling. While active in the military, he worked every weekend to support his family, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to their well-being. He was a loyal, trustworthy, and honest man, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

Richard will be remembered for making pizza and homemade ice cream for his neighbors, showcasing his sense of community. He was known for his loving, faith-filled, and friendly nature.

Richard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dolores J. Reynozo; children, Ritchie C. Reynozo (Colleen), Robin C. Reynozo (Milagro), and Relinda A. Reynozo; grandchildren, Amber Roberts, Kayla Roberts, Caton Reynozo, Alexander Reynozo, and Joshua Reynozo; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria, and siblings, Ralph Reynoso, John Reynoso, Raymond Reynoso, Carmen Simons, and Mary McNeal.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
