BUCHANAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 5a.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by a 24-year-old St. Joseph woman was southbound on Route K just north of Arcadia Street at the St. Joseph City limits.
The car rear-ended a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by a 76-year-0ld Amazonia man who was slowing to turn. After impact the Nissan traveled down an embankment. Buchanan County EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic Life Care. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the identity of accident victims.
