ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on drug allegations after a traffic stop.
Shortly after 4p.m. Wednesday, police conducted a traffic stop near 7th and Atchison Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The driver, identified as Vanessa L. Gerber, 42, Atchison was found to be driving while revoked. Police also arrested her on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to Wilson.
Gerber was jailed in May and in 2021 for aggravated failure to appear and in January of 2022 for operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a driver's license, and felony flee and elude charges, according to online jail records.
