CLINTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7a.m. Thursday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Lincoln Navigator driven by Jared N. Guzman, 55, Nevada, Iowa, was southbound on. Interstate 35 two miles south of Cameron.
The SUV traveled partially off the road and overturned when it blew a tire. As it overturned, it struck the passenger side of a southbound 2023 Freightliner semi driven by Thomas L. Smith, 51, Derby, Kansas. Both vehicles came to rest off the west side of the road.
Cameron EMS transported a passenger in the SUV Blanca M. Perez Garcia, 41, Nevada, Iowa, to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The two drivers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
