ANDREW COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Thursday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Chevy S-10 driven by Brandon R. Bascue, 19, Savannah, was southbound on Interstate 229 five miles north of St. Joseph.
The pickup traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The pickup struck a guardrail and overturned.
A private vehicle transported a 17-year-old passenger to Mosaic Life Care. Bascue was not injured. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
