The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating an early Tuesday morning shooting in the area of South 33rd street in which gunfire struck a vehicle.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports that just after 12:30am on Tuesday morning, officers responded to a call of multiple shots fired in the area of South 33rd Street. When arriving at the scene between Mitchell Avenue and Duncan Street, officers found numerous shell casings in the roadway and that one vehicle had been struck by gunfire.
Officers reported there were no injuries in the incident. No one is currently in custody, and the incident remains under investigation.
