Leblond's Huss honored with Bill Snyder Woman of Impact Award

The longtime coach of the Bishop Leblond Volleyball team is being honored by the St. Joseph Sports Commision.

Kimberly Huss has been named by the St. Joseph Sports Commision as this years Bill Snyder Woman of Impact award winner.

The Woman of Impact Award recognizes a female athlete, coach, administrator or a contributor that achieved an outstanding season or accomplishment over the past year.

Last year, Huss guided Leblond to a 33-5 record, making it to the MSHSAA Final Four for a fourth time, and bringing home a third place trophy in Class 2. Through her career Huss has won 487 matches and has helped Leblond to 14 district title.

On top of her work on the volleyball court, Huss also serves as the principal at Leblond.

Huss along with the 2024 Hall of Fame class consisting of 10 individual inductees, 1 team and the Special Olympics Athlete of the Year will be inducted on Sunday, August 25 at 5pm at the Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center.
