LIVINGSTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Wednesday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Volvo semi driven by a 29-year-old Ontario, Canada man was eastbound on U.S. 36 one mile east of Chillicothe.
The semi rear-ended a 2011 Freightliner driven by a 55-year-old man from Chillicothe. After impact the Freightliner traveled off the north side of the road, crossed the median and came to rest on its wheels.
Chillicothe EMS transported the Freightliner driver to Hedrick Medical Center. There were no other injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
The Patrol no longer releases the identity of accident victims.
