Wretha Arlene Harris, age 84, of Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 21, 1942, in Albany, Missouri, the daughter of Chester Franklin Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Graves) Claycomb.

Wretha was a kind and loving person who found her greatest joy in her family, especially in her role as “G-Mom.” She had a special place in her heart for animals—particularly her tweety birds and outside cats—and she enjoyed spending time caring for them. She also loved cooking and baking for those she cherished, watching classic movies and television shows, and surrounding herself with her favorite color, blue. Wretha was proud of her Irish heritage and always held a special love for Ireland. She was also a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Michelle Wyatt and Jason Calloway.

Wretha is lovingly remembered by her children, Tina (Dave) Hensley and David Callaway, both of Stewartsville; two brothers; five sisters; three grandchildren, Sandra, Kourtney, and Jordan; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss her kindness and warmth.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2026, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Stewartsville, Missouri, with burial following at Old School Presbyterian Cemetery in Stewartsville.
