Billy Joe Claybrook, 87, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026.
He was born on October 9, 1938, in Trenton, Missouri, to Dewey and Florence (Raymo) Claybrook.
Billy served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years.
He married Guadalupe Aguilar on June 11, 1960. She survives in the home.
Billy was a manager at Owens Corning Fiberglass for 35 years.
He enjoyed golf, football and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father, Dewey; mother, Florence; his brothers, Joe, Sam, Darrel, Warren; and his sister, Betty Jean.
Survivors include wife, Guadalupe; brother, Al (Sally); sons, William (Debra) and Joseph (Cheryl); grandsons, Joseph Jr (Kristi) and Scott (Angela); granddaughter, Ashley; great-grandsons, Eli, Ben and Silas; great- granddaughter, Junia; with many sisters-in-law and brothers in-law; many nieces and nephews as well as his many Godchildren. He was also like a father to Stacy Wheeler and Kenneth Stubbs Jr.
