A 42-year-old St. Joseph man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to child molestation.
Ronald Heffley reached the plea agreement in the case in which a 14-year-old girl gave birth to a child in July of last year.
The St. Joseph Police Department got a call from Children’s Mercy Hospital in September of last year. The teenager gave birth in July. Genetic testing implicated Heffley.
