NODAWAY COUNTY —A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Silverado driven by David A. Morriss, 36, Guilford, was westbound on U.S. 36 just west of Maple Drive.
The pickup was traveling too fast for conditions and rear-ended a 2010 Toyota Highlander driven by Grace N. Schroeder, 20, Liberty.
After impact the SUV traveled off the road and struck a fence. The pickup became airborne and struck a tree. Clarinda Air Ambulance transported Morriss to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Schroeder was not injured. Morriss was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
