Beverly Ann Bolinger (Porter), 66, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025.
Bev was born on September 8, 1959 at Cushing Memorial Hospital, Leavenworth, Kansas to Charles and Jeanette (Cansler) Clifton.She was adopted and raised by her mother Jeanette (Cansler) and Keith (Jumbo) Porter. Bev was a lifelong resident of Platte County and graduated from Platte County R3 in 1977. She married Bill Burnett and they had one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Burnett.
She had various jobs throughout Platte County and eventually retired from Maple Hill Animal Hospital where she was able to share her avid love for animals. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and diamond painting.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Jumbo and Jeanette Porter and a nephew, Derrick Balagna. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Lynn Burnett, a granddaughter Kylee Ann Hunter, 2 surviving sisters, Pam (Ken) Mann and Dixie Balagna, 6 nieces/nephews and 6 great nieces/nephews.
Beverly will be missed and lovingly remembered. May she rest in peace.
Visitation is set for December 20th, from 10-11 AM, at First Baptist Church of Platte City, 17385 Hwy 371. Services will follow at 11. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Platte City Kitty Cat Connections. Arrangements By: Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City, MO.
