BUCHANAN COUNTY—Four people were injured in an accident just after noon Sunday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Chevy Equinox driven by a 17-year-old boy from Gower was southbound on U.S. 169 four miles north of Gower.
The vehicle crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2017 GMC Sierra driven by Curtis W. Falconer, 40, Smithville.
Lifeflight transported the teen driver to Children's Mercy. Buchanan County EMS transported an 11-year-old Gower boy in the Chevy, Falconer and a passenger in the GMC identified as Jeremy J. McAlister, 39, Milan, to Mosaic Life Care. All four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
