Neva Kempf, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024.
She was born November 22, 1933 in St. Joseph to Bernard and Vita (Smith) Kempf.
Neva was a secretary for Southwestern Bell for 30-plus years and was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and Women on the Go.
She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, and was an avid reader who also liked to spend time with family. At the Living Community, she enjoyed playing bingo, dominos and cards with her friends.
Neva was a Christian.
The family wants to thank the staff at Living Community and Mosaic Life Care Hospice for their compassionate care for Neva.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Dolores Farley, Marvin Kempf and Margaret Kempf.
Survivors include siblings, Charles Kempf (Joan), and Joyce White; sister-in-law, Betty Kempf; nieces and nephews, Theresa Bally (Joel), Judy Myers (Buzz), Charles (Debbie) Kempf, Cheri Kempf, Michael George, and Christy George; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other extended family members and friends.
