Alvin Frayer, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024.
He was born on March 7, 1947, to Ernest and Janet (Laurence) Frayer in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Alvin proudly served for the United States Navy.
On February 13, 1969, he married Susan Lorraine Kepner. They celebrated 55 years of marriage this year.
He spent 38 years working as a lineman for the city of St. Joseph until his retirement.
Alvin enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching M.A.S.H. He also loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John and Richard Frayer; and his son, Alvin Frayer Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; daughter, Karrie Foster; siblings, Sarah Levret and Robert Frayer; grandchildren, Michael (Jesse) Foster and Maleia Foster; and great grandchildren, Avery, Harlee and Gracelyn.
