HOLT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Sunday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Toyota Prius driven by Charles W. Cornwell, 74, Omaha, Nebraska, was northbound on U.S. 159 five miles north of Forrest City.
The car traveled off the road, struck a guardrail, traveled down an embankment, began to roll and struck a concrete bridge support column.
Atchison-Holt EMS transported Cornwell to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
