Robert "Bob" George Row 93, of St. Joseph, MO. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at his home in St. Joseph, MO. He was born May 30, 1930 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Katherine and Mendell Row.
He graduated from Benton High School and St. Joseph Junior College. He married Margaret "Gail" Zuptich on April 19, 1982. He served in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. He retired in 2000 at the age of 70 from the United States Postal Service as a Carrier. He was a member of the Million Mile Club, an award for a Million Miles or 30 years with out a preventable accident, he loved his job. Bob enjoyed sports, was an avid Mizzou, Kansas City Chiefs, and Royals fan, he was a 49 year member of the Masonic Lodge, past member Scottish Rite, a member of the National Association of Letters Carriers, a life member of the VFW, and American Legion.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Beaman, brother, Edward Row, niece, Cheryl Kline, and his in laws, Margaret & Charles Zuptich.
Survivors include wife, Gail Row of the home, daughter, Amy Row, St. Joseph, MO, niece, Carolyn Polsky, nephews, Bob Beaman, Ed Row Jr., Gary Row, and Ronald Row, and his beloved big black dog, Harper.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Rosary to be prayed at 1:30 follow by a funeral service and public live stream at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home, The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
