Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Willeford was born on November 5, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was one of two children of Alton Leo and Betty Joline (Sigler) Willeford.
Becky graduated from Raytown High School and then attended Northwest Missouri State, University of Missouri. She received her Masters in Speech Pathology from Central Missouri State University.
Rebecca was a police officer and later taught at the Kansas City, Missouri Police Academy. She later worked as a speech therapist for the Kansas City, Missouri School District.
Becky loved the outdoors, camping, traveling, hiking, wildlife, birds, and cats and dogs. She adored children, especially babies.
Becky was a flag-waving Democrat, hated injustice and always supported the underdog. She loved her family, friends, people of all walks of life, a good margarita, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Becky passed away on November 29, 2024 at a Rock Port, Missouri care center. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Summer Willeford.
Survivors include her children, Carina, Luke, and Isaiah Willeford, all of Kansas City; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Kristy Willeford and their son Brittain, Lee's Summit, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Anniyah, Marlee, Draylen and Dakari.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
